For a few days in October, the fog in Seattle was insane - like, Top Story on the news insane. So, I decided to get above it all and ventured up to the Space Needle observation deck on a chilly Wednesday night. I shot stills for about 3hrs until 11pm, when the usher politely told me that they were now closed and I had to leave. Last one down the elevator! I wish I could have stayed up there all night because the fog was really starting to surge in from two different directions and was just about to cover the entire city. For the best experience, try and watch it in HD, full screen and with headphones on.

Some details on the camera setup; - Canon 7D & 60D - Canon 70-200mm f/4 IS, Canon 17-55mm f/2.8, Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC. - Both cameras were set to 3.2 second exposures, ISO 500, f/7.1 and were set with intervalometers to take a photo every 7 seconds.
